America’s Select Homes | Feature Lake Sara Home

Greetings to all! I seem to have been MIA on the blog lately but never fear we are still here working hard on weddings and other special projects this winter. I had three wisdom teeth removed yesterday so my weekend is full of “catching up” couch work! I am grateful for the time off to get caught up on the blog! As you can see, this is a new type of blog post for me as our special winter project has included photographing some AMAZING homes for America’s Select Homes in Effingham, IL. We love a new challenge and taking on a new style of project for both our photography and videography has really enabled us to try out some different skills (that you can’t always pull off at a wedding) as well as see some great homes.

These guys do AWESOME work and if you don’t believe me, check out these houses we will be posting this week. What I love about the homes Doug and I have already viewed is that they have so many personal touches and it is obvious that this company has a lot of pride in including small details that really make a house a home. This stunning lake home includes hardwood floors, large windows, a wine cellar, stone fireplace, and a large view of Lake Sara. Doug and I built a house almost 5 years ago and it was amazing project. We had wonderful builders and vendors and I wouldn’t change a thing about our home as we are just in love with it. We had awesome builders that cared and that is what we see in America’s Select Homes. Even as Roger was describing this home to us he gave such detail and had a lot of stories to go along with it. This attitude along with their complete and full service is why America’s Select Homes is a respected and successful builder in the Effingham community. Why trust your home, where you will create so many memories, to just anyone. I say this a lot about wedding photography as well. You want a wedding photographer that CARES about your wedding day as much as you do. These are the kind of professionals I like to promote and support!
