Poor Leah and Nick. We scheduled their engagement session about 3-4 times in the last couple of months and every time the day of the session came, it rained L Thankfully though we FINALLY got a date that worked great and we had PERFECT weather and clouds. Bout time Mother Nature! The great weather was however not as much of a bonus as the fact that the couple was awesome to work with, had a cute adorable little son, and had a waterfall spot for their pictures! Leah and Nick included their sweet little boy in the engagement photos and although he remained pretty stoic for the majority of the shoot we did manage to get a few smirks from him and we really loved how cute and funny he was. We know he’ll be super handsome at the wedding! Leah and Nick had some great spots picked out and they completely went along with my ADHD approach of “let’s just walk and take pictures as we go” mentality. Although my little woodland adventure took us the long way around it was totally worth it. The waterfall spot that Leah and Nick chose to incorporate into their photos was so unique and awesome especially since waterfalls in Illinois are almost non-existent. We took photos until we lost the sun and overall it was a really great evening. We are so glad the weather finally cooperated so that we could get these photos in! We can’t wait for the wedding! Congrats Leah and Nick! Can’t wait for the wedding!
