We ended our insane June wedding season with the wedding of Jill and Aaron. It was a hot day but despite that it was absolutely beautiful outside complete with fluffy clouds, a photographers dream come true! We started the morning at Foxy Styles in Effingham where the bridal hair and makeup queen Lauren Niemerg created an elegant up-do for Jill and gave her a flawless bridal look for her big day. We headed to Island Grove where we were able to get in all the formals that we could prior to the wedding without Jill and Aaron seeing each other. Not only did Burklands Flowers in Effingham do an insanely beautiful job on the bridal party bouquets and boutonnieres they also had the most stunning reception centerpieces I’ve ever seen. The colors and smell of the flowers were amazing and you just can’t beat Burklands for value and quality. The ceremony went smoothly even though poor Jill’s veil fell out mid ceremony. Sometimes you just have to roll with things when they happen! We finished up formal pictures and then headed to this beautiful picture spot that we had used for Jill and Aaron’s engagement photos. Even though it was wickedly hot outside we pushed on the best we could and occasionally would get a small break in the sun by large fluffy clouds. We headed to the Teutopolis KC Hall for the reception where again, the décor was stunning and we enjoyed the fact that the couple printed their engagement photos to display at the reception (in large quantities). We constantly tell people to print their images and to keep them around the house as they are precious memories and were meant to be printed! Niemergs did another amazing job catering the delicious meal. We always know when we arrive at the reception and we see Niemergs we are in for a great meal! Travis Kessler provided the exceptional DJ services for the evening and even worked graciously with our schedule as we wanted to do some lower evening light pictures with Jill and Aaron as we were still itching to capture a few more portraits. We loved that we were able to get in a few last minute shots before joining the epic full dance floor party. We love T-Town weddings, they are really just a lot of fun and we love seeing familiar faces specifically our previous bride and grooms who we enjoy catching up with. Jill was an absolutely stunning bride and Aaron was such an awesome, easy going guy we couldn’t have asked for a better day. Congrats Aaron and Jill, enjoy your honeymoon!
