Fran and Brad wrap up what we consider our main “summer” wedding season and man did we go out with a bang! We will be taking a few week break here in July to travel to Alaska and Washington to check a few more items off our travel bucket list! Fran and Brad had an absolutely beautiful day and we couldn’t have been more honored to be a part of it. These two are absolutely amazing. They are the most humble and kind individuals you’ll ever meet, they are both pharmacists (seriously, awesome), and they are absolutely so sweet on each other that it shows in every single photo. We started the morning off at Branches Salon with some morning chatter followed by some bridal hair and makeup. We can always count on the staff at Branches to keep our wedding schedules running on time and we are always grateful for the great job they do on makeup and hair because it looks fabulous all day long. We headed to St. Anthony Church which of course is a special place for Doug and I as it is where we married 8 years ago to photograph the bride, groom, and their pretty cool families. Burklands Flower Shop in Effingham provided the flowers for the event and they were the definition of perfection! We were given such ample time for photographs we utilized every moment that we could to capture some beautiful pictures for our couple! We love using the church grounds for pictures and because we had so much ample time for portraits we stopped at two photo locations before heading to the ceremony. The first was the nicely shaded Evergreen Park in Effingham where we captured some more bridal party portraits along with some of the couple. We made a brief stop at Tuscan Hills Winery to capture a few lovely shots in the pristine vineyards before heading to the Effingham KC Hall for the reception. We know when we hear the words “Walnut Street Weddings” that we will be met with a beautifully decorated hall and Fran and Brad’s wedding reception did not disappoint. Complete with another great meal by Niemerg’s (twice baked potatoes, yum yum) and some sweet cups and huggies designed by my friend Tanya at Design Pro the reception was a complete hit. The dance floor was packed and Fran and Brad eagerly allowed us to capture some evening photos of them. This was just an absolutely great day, we couldn’t be happier for this couple and we believe their genuine love for each other shows in all of these photos. We also provided videography for the couple through Key-Films and we can’t wait to share their feature trailer with you in the coming weeks. Until then, off to Alaska we go and we’ll see you all for the fall wedding season beginning for us in the great state of Florida come the first week of August 🙂
Congrats Fran and Brad!
