Angela and Josh are going to have to forgive my scatterbrain this week because my normal blog posting day is Wednesday and here it is Thursday and I’m just now remembering I need to blog this week! I’m pretty sure the whole “two weddings in one week” has caused this confusion but here I go!
Angela and Josh were two very awesome people. They were laid back, hilarious, and just plain pleasant to be around. They incorporated things into their wedding day that we really do love: no bar trips, a small, intimate bridal party, and a perfect spot for outdoor pictures. It was such a smooth day! We started the morning at the Beehive Boutique in Dieterich where Megan styled our bride with flawless hair. This salon is absolutely lovely, I will admit I have gone there several times to buy jewelry and I was more than a little tempted while I was there this time. We headed to beautiful Bishop Church for the formal pictures and wedding ceremony. We love getting into churches a little earlier in the mornings because you can really appreciate the beautiful light coming in naturally and it allows us to get some really beautiful shots. The ceremony went beautifully as the groom saw his bride for the first time coming down the aisle. We finished up quickly with formal portraits because we wanted to do our best to get in some outdoor pictures and it had finally stopped raining. We headed to the couples home where they had some beautiful backdrops to work with and even puppies 🙂 We were able to get in so many portraits because the couple allowed this time to just hang out, take some relaxed pictures (and fun ones too) with their bridal party, and just enjoy the day with each other. We headed back to Bishop for the reception where Brad Miller provided the music and entertainment for the evening. The dance floor was of course packed as the couple danced the night away. Martins Catering provided a wonderful meal and the speeches were absolutely hilarious. We had a lot of fun taking the night shot for this wedding, I won’t disclose the source of our smoke for that shot but I can tell you it came from a place you would not likely expect! Such a great day, great couple, and all around successful wedding.
