It’s Wednesday. That means I’m back to my normal blog shenanigans. The summer is winding down and so are our summer weddings. This leaves me kind of bummed because every year about this time I look at the summer and say “where did the time go” and I get a little frustrated that I spent so much time either in my office editing or so many weekends shooting weddings that I somehow “Missed out” on summer. Now, the moment I go all feeling sorry for myself I look back and realize we maximized our summer as much as any two human beings can. We spent every Friday night with our friends or going out, we vacationed for at least 3 weeks of the summer, we planted flowers that haven’t died, and we got to shoot weddings like THIS one the entire season. Hello Summer Wedding Amazingness. Natasha and Jordan you guys are DA BOMB. We mean that.
This wedding was pretty dang awesome. They had a perfect photo friendly schedule that included the absolute sweetest first look ever (Jordan, you’re a stud) and featured the most laid back and easy going bride and groom on the planet. We loved this day from start to finish. We met up with our good ole pal Katie Clagg at Stylez for some bridal party perfection as she gave Natasha a flawless bridal look. We love our hair and makeup ninja’s at Stylez 🙂 We of course ran on time with hair and makeup (because these guys are PRO’S) and we headed to the church to get Natasha in that STUNNING made for her wedding dress. The first look… man you guys…. it had all the feels. Despite the little bought of rain we had, the fluffy perfect clouds gave us the most amazing day. I think I commented several times about how beautiful the light was outside and the clouds. The ceremony went beautifully and the family was so easy to work with we were thankful we had some time before the ceremony to do some more casual and fun outdoor family photos. We don’t always have time to do those because of how tight wedding schedules run but Natasha did an amazing job of planning. They had two great picture locations planned close to the church for us to take outdoor photos and the bridal party was a blast. Seriously, I could hang out with them all every weekend, what a great bunch! The reception featured the yummy meal by Niemergs, a live band, a Nacho Cheese bar, and one of the BEST Best Man/Maid of Honor speeches EVER! The speeches were original, heartfelt, and hilarious. It was hard to take pictures because inside I wanted to just bust out laughing. This couple was so genuine and so in love the day was pure magic. We can’t say enough good things and by the length of my rambling you can probably tell we loved this wedding day. Congrats Natasha and Jordan, may your marriage be as absolutely beautiful as your wedding day was.
