Katie and Justin joined us for a beautiful evening for engagement photos a few weeks ago and we were blessed with perfect light and a relaxed couple to work with. One of the best scenarios as a photographer is to have clients that completely trust you and your ability to capture their personalities and their beauty all without micromanaging and directing the shoot themselves. At some point you just have to stop “planning your engagement photos” and participate in them. This couple was the perfect example of that, allowing us to expand our creativity and our lighting and we think the results speak for themselves. Too often obsessive planning and trying to achieve a look someone else has on Pinterest or Facebook results in disappointment or un-needed stress the day of the session and we can’t stress enough to our clients “just let us do our thing, we promise, it will be ok.” Thanks Katie and Justin for having complete trust in us and for being so genuinely easy to work with and relaxed. We can’t wait for the wedding!
