Couple crush alert. I can’t describe to you how much I loved Kelsie and Nathan. Kelsie is like the kindest, sweetest girl ever.Iin fact when they were planning engagement photos with us she was texting me with genuine concern about how we were and how we were getting through the busy season. These two expressed so much gratitude for us that it warmed our heart. We had a blast laughing with these two and just hanging out in general. They were so natural and easy going and the best part about the session was that they trusted us 100 percent. I’m going to just say hands down that the ONE thing that makes successful photos in our book is that the couples TRUSTS us to do our thing. At some point you just have to stop planning for your engagement session and just participate in it. Sometimes couples can’t always see our “vision” for shooting photos in the alley ditch behind the VFW but you know, when they see the results they understand the importance of trusting the vendor. Micromanaging photos or having friends tell you what you should do versus what the professional suggests can sometimes lead to regret because as much as you think you’ll look like that Pinterest photo, you just may not. We find that the best photos are ones that represent YOU and not an attempt to copy models from the internet. We do something photography related every single day and we have grown to accept and understand light and weather. Kelsie and Nathan trusted us to use that knowledge to capture some fun and candid images of them. We seriously had a blast with this couple and we can’t wait for the big day!
Congrats!
