Fall is known for its beautiful, perfect evenings and that is just what the doctor ordered for our engagement session with Allison and Andy. We drove out to two of the most perfect spots and were able to take some really fun engagement photos. We discuss with our clients a lot of our reasoning behind choosing places and spots for photos at their locations and when a client completely puts their faith in us to find the best angles and light at their location we really think it just creates a magical session. I typically choose where to place my subjects solely on light alone. After I’m happy with the current light then I start to think about things in terms of composition and expression. Sometimes the best light is really found in the back alley of a VFW. Many of our most popular photos on social media have been taken in places you wouldn’t expect. Allison and Andy provided us with a beautiful location that had even better light so the possibilities were endless. We enjoyed getting to know them as a couple and learning about their wedding day. We did a little off-roading in our Venza so that we could capture the most perfect sunset ever. We loved how genuine and loving this couple was towards each other and it made our job very easy.
