Oh sweet Amy and Zach, my 2017 couple crush……
OMG I love these two, for real. It all started back almost two years ago when I get this random email from a guy named Zach. He wanted to propose to his girlfriend Amy and he wanted it to be epic. We went back and forth with several emails before we finally settled on a believable game plan that would allow us to not only photograph the proposal but video it as well. Fast forward to 2016 and we’re shooting their engagement photos. One of the things we tell people is that the secret magic to successful photos is trusting your professional and caring about what these photos will look like 30-50 years from now. When your kids look at your wedding photos, what do you want them to think? Amy and Zach are as genuine as they come. They not only treat Doug and I like immediate friends, they value our time, efforts, and talents far beyond the normal client relationship. They approach their lives with compassion and respect and I just want to squeeze Amy when she acknowledges things like our busy season and our crazy weekend schedules. They not only been good to us, surprising us with little treats and kindness but they also extended that kindness to our puppy by getting him a tie to wear (when company comes over). Zach is the kind of guy you wish planned other peoples proposals for a living, he’s the world’s sweetest guy. I’m pretty sure Amy and Zach scheduled their engagement session with us almost a year in advance and I’m so glad that the weather for that evening was absolutely perfect. We spent the evening catching up and talking weddings, life, and pets as we moved around Greenup capturing that wonderful fall light. To say that we are excited for this wedding is an understatement, we feel like we have been a part of this journey with them from the very beginning and I’m not afraid to say I might be a little teary eyed when this wedding goes down cause I’ve grown super fond of these two in the process of all this. We love clients that turn into life long friends and we are so thankful that seems to happen to us quite a bit these days!
Thanks Amy and Zach for an AWESOME time, we love ya!
