Monica and Zach | Engagement @ Rural Effingham

Well not only has Mother Nature been unpredictable this spring and summer she’s also been kind of a big jerk. Between the humidity, the rain, and the bugs I would say we have had a pretty challenging year in Central Illinois. Monica and Zach braved 90+ degree temps to have their engagement photos taken in rural Effingham and I won’t lie, we had to break a few times for some snow cones and slushies (best 20 dollar Walmart purchase I ever made). We really enjoyed working with this couple, they completely trusted our photography vision and left the creativity in our hands and when that happens, it produces great results. Not only was this couple super pretty (sorry Zach, I meant handsome) but they were so genuine and relaxed in front of the camera. I know their wedding is going to be a lot of fun even if I can’t talk them into a snow come machine/bar at the wedding 😉
