We are in the single digits for remaining weddings for the fall season and we are really enjoying the cooler weather and the dwindling countdown. It has been an extremely busy year, our busiest yet and we are looking forward to the much needed holiday break in November and December before Bridal Season show starts up again. Crystal and Ryne gave us a very laid back and enjoyable day to work with last Saturday when they exchanged rings and vows at the beautiful Carriage House in Altamont, IL. This couple was so fun and genuine together we really just enjoyed the being around them all day. We started hair and makeup prep in the beautifully new Cobblestone Suites near the Carriage House where Crystal had a beautiful job completed on her makeup and her gorgeous long hair. We thankfully were blessed with great weather and were able to get in outdoor photos before the ceremony without the couple seeing each other. The reception had very beautiful décor and the couple exchanged vows in front of a fantastic sparkly gold backdrop in front of their parents and friends. We had plenty of time for outdoor pictures and part of the reason I love this time of year is that it the low golden sunlight is at the perfect position in the late afternoon for some lovely, natural portraits. We had some fun with the bridal party shooting at the local park and around the Altamont area before heading back to the Carriage House for the reception. Jaz and Kayla from Fully N Volved provided the hopping party music and did an excellent job at keeping the reception flowing through an interactive schedule. The party seemed to all be big Cubs fans because the couple broadcasted the final game of the National League Championship on the wall during the reception and the room went wild when Cubs won the championship and were headed to the World Series. Niemergs provided the wonderful reception meal and the couple had delicious cupcakes and a popcorn bar to entertain their guests. We loved the funny speeches and the beautiful first dances. All around it was just a really great day and we really loved working with Crystal, Ryne and their family and bridal party. Congrats Crystal and Ryne!
