Elizabeth and Nick had me at “we’ll be including cows in our pictures.” I don’t know why, but I just kind of love animals in photos (except snakes, bugs, and birds) because they just bring about this unique and adorable touch to a session. Usually couples tell us they are going to bring their dog or even cat for photos but every once in a while we get animals of a larger variety. Cows are curious creatures and they sure were interested in us, our equipment, and our mission.
We started off the engagement session with absolutely perfect weather and an amazing laid back couple. We loved that they incorporated a special place to have their pictures done in that was personal to them and meaningful. We made sure to take a lot of photos focusing on the dock where Nick proposed to Elizabeth and we also made sure to include the absolutely beautiful sky that we were blessed with on their session day. We had a blast talking to the couple and getting to know them. We loved that Nick included his three-wheeler and truck into the photos as that gives us more unique opportunities to make their engagement session very tailored to their personalities and styles. We finished the session in the field with the cool cows enjoying the beautiful low sunlight. We know that Nick and Elizabeth’s wedding is going to be an absolute blast and we can’t wait to celebrate with them.
