Last weekend we headed towards the Cincinnati area to capture the wedding of Holly and Joe. One of the best things about this wedding is that we knew Holly and her family already due to a connection and it was wonderful to work with them all again. We had a bright sunny day but a crazy windy day as we captured the wedding day moments. We started the morning spending some time with Holly at the Woodlands Banquet Facility where some last minute decorations were complete as well as witnessing Joe and Holly’s 17 Tier AMAZING wedding cake being constructed for the reception. Joe’s family owns a bakery and I can personally attest to the amazing cake and pastries that came from this bakery, absolutely delicious! The cake was just so beautiful; there were so many compliments on it. We spent a relaxed morning and early afternoon at the home of the bride’s parents where the wedding party had their hair and makeup completed. We headed over the church where we were able to do some pre-wedding formals outside of the church prior to the late evening ceremony. Even though it was crazy windy the bridal party stuck it out and we were able to get in a lot of photos without rain inhibiting our progress! The ceremony was beautiful and elegant and Holly looked absolutely stunning walking down the aisle. After the wedding we completed the rest of the couples’ formals and headed to the Woodlands Facility to take some sunset/evening shots before the couple was introduced into their reception. We love that despite it being windy and cold the couple toughed it out and we were able to get some beautiful natural light shots. There were some really awesome speeches including a serenade by two of the bridesmaids and the kids in the wedding really enjoyed the dance floor! We loved that Holly’s decoration colors matched our branding logos (yellow and grey) and it was so nice to see a full dance floor for most of the evening. We had a great weekend with the family and the wedding day was full of love and joy. We wish Holly and Joe many years of joy!
Congrats!

* Just a note about our blogs! We absolutely LOVE documenting the entire wedding day and this blog represents a very small snapshot of the big day! We like our blogs to focus on the bride and groom so sometimes family photos don’t always make the cut. Never fear! We promise that all family formals taken will be given to the bride and groom once their images are ready!*
