We are winding down the 2016 wedding season and our first weekend of November gave us a perfect couple and some even more perfect weather. We have really lucked out this year with perfect Saturday days and we couldn’t be happier for Leah, Nick, and Gage as they start their new journey as a married couple and family. These two are just so kind of fun to be around, we enjoyed working with them so very much. We started the morning at Branches Salon where Carrie and the team worked hard to create beautiful up-dos for the bridal party. Katrina Smith gave our bride and several other bridesmaids flawless makeup and the bridal party left Branches Salon looking pretty fly. We can always count on this salon to do a fabulous job and keep us on time! We headed to the church where we were able to get in both indoor and outdoor formals without the couple seeing each other and we were all very entertained by the couples son Gage who is seriously the cutest thing you’ll ever see in a tux. He shared his tractor with me and eyed me intently as I took some ring photos on it (don’t worry, I gave it back to him). Leah had the most beautiful wedding dress and she looked absolutely stunning as she walked down the aisle towards Nick for the first time. Fr. Chris conducted a beautiful ceremony and we always enjoy the beauty of our home church, St. Anthony. We finished up family photos before heading to Community Park to take some more photos of the bridal party and we tried to have some fun with little Gage on the merry go round. We made a quick stop to do a few more photos of the couple in front of this magnificent yellow tree at the park in Altamont before heading to the Carriage House for the reception. Zach Lorton of Complete Music greeted us at the door and we knew we were in for a really fun night. He kept the reception moving and hopping as we watched guests get excited over the couples mini pie buffet and as the couple got to hear some very funny speeches. We were treated to a wonderful dinner by Deb’s Catering and you can bet the Carriage House staff did yet again another fabulous job on the décor and service. Zach Lorton is a great entertainer and he brought down the house in laughter when he hosted a lip sync contest for some of the guests at the reception and I swear I’ve never laughed so hard. We can always count on him to bring great party interaction that makes our photos even better. We were also blessed to have our newly married photographer bestie Kayla York join us for her last wedding of the year with us. She has been helping us out with photography and video now for years and we can’t even begin to describe what an asset she and her talent are to us. We love her and wish she lived closer! What an awesome day we had with Leah and Nick, we are very happy and excited for them as they begin this new journey together. We are so honored you chose us for your big day. Congrats!
