Loryn and Tadd | Wedding @ The Carriage House, Altamont IL

We are currently in our busiest season but with the cold weather comes our wedding season getting closer and closer to the end. We can thank Loryn and Tadd for contributing to our “awesome weddings of 2015” list this year for having one of the most laid back, relaxed, and genuine weddings of this year. Loryn and Tadd definitely didn’t let the little things get in the way of them just completely enjoying their big day. For starters, it was absolutely freezing and windy as all get out but Loryn, Tadd, and their amazing bridal party never complained and they just completely ran with it making it one of the most enjoyable bridal parties to shoot. We started the morning at Swagger salon where some of my favorite hair stylists completed the bridal party look including Loryn’s beautiful up-do. Kaitlyn Hartke, makeup extraordinaire, did yet another flawless job on the bride and her wedding party. From there we headed to one of my favorite spots, the Carriage House, where Janet and her team yet again created a beautiful and intimate room for the ceremony and reception. We were able to complete all outdoor pictures prior the wedding and Loryn and Tadd were literally so much fun to hang out with. As you can see in the photos, we had a little too much fun despite the wind, the cold temps, and even a dental emergency. Nothing could get this couple down! We had a really emotional and intimate ceremony at the Carriage House followed by photos at this amazing sunflower field we ran across last minute. The reception was complete with a yummy popcorn bar and delicious cupcakes and a great meal served by Niemergs. The dance floor was full from the get-go and everyone had a great time. I loved that this couple was so in love and laid back and relaxed it made their portraits even more amazing, despite all of the crazy weather! Doug with Key-Films provided our ceremony video as well as some great portraits of the couple during outdoor pictures! Congrats Loryn and Tadd, we wish you many years of joy!
