We spent last weekend shooting the morning engagement session of Tara and Darin and let me tell you these guys were troopers! Rain loomed the entire morning and it was really hard to predict if it was just going to pass over or completely downpour. Thankfully, despite the ominous forecast we pressed on, hoping to get lucky and we definitely did. For fear of weather, we started our session at our indoor location: the high school halls of where Tara and Darin first met (aww, right?). Since Doug and I are past high school prom dates we love hearing about another couple that found love early and are finally making the long term commitment to each other in marriage, it is such a great story. After taking some photos there we started venturing closer to town hoping we would beat the rain and get lucky. We made a few location stops along the way for fear of moving further into town and getting rained on and I am glad we did because we got some really great weather and clouds there towards the end of the session. We love when couples are flexible when mother nature isn’t always being nice and we are glad this session was able to get worked out, I think we got some great stuff (it helps that this couple is completely awesome). Thanks Tara for having some great props and some great ideas, we are looking forward to your 2016 wedding!
