Lisa and Chad | Wedding @ St. Anthony of Padua Church, Effingham IL

I was really looking forward to the wedding of Lisa and Chad because I have known actually both of them for a long time. I went to high school with Chad and I have worked with Lisa in the past and I also know her awesome family. The weather was beautiful throughout the day with the exception of the downpour that occurred right when we were supposed to be taking outdoor photos. Luckily Lisa’s dad was watching the weather and let us know the storm was coming and we were able to squeeze in some local outdoor photos before it completely poured down on Effingham. It was a very relaxed day and Doug and I really enjoyed shooting in the beautiful St. Anthony Church. Lisa had an absolutely stunning lace dress and one of the unique things about her wedding party is that two of the bridesmaids are also getting married soon (and Doug and I will be there as well shooting their weddings!). We love being able to hang out with everyone and do what we love. Doug also provided ceremony video coverage for Lisa and Chad and small clip will be available on his blog very soon! Doug offers not just all day coverage but also ceremony only coverage for those that are interested. We have a short little break of a week or so before our next wedding and then its back to back action all the way into November. We are really looking forward to the fall wedding season!
