Kelsie and Nathan | Wedding @ Flora IL

I think 2017 is the year of really fun and happy bride and grooms. Kelsie and Nathan are the definition of the happy and ecstatic wedding couple and we spent the entire day with them, their families, and their bridal party running on the adrenaline of their infectious joy. We loved this couple during their engagement session and we knew that their wedding day was going to be epic. We started the morning at Robbins Hair Salon in Olney IL where the bride and her bridesmaids prepared for the day and Kelsie received her beautiful bridal up-do and makeup. We had a great morning laughing about so many things and enjoying spending time with the group, haven’t laughed that hard in a long time!

We headed to the church where we did a large variety of family photos and got to meet everyone important to Kelsie and Nathan. They were so clearly loved by their family and friends as evidence by the packed church and reception hall for their big day. Kelsie looked AMAZING in her dress and I loved that her dress could go from ceremony to reception by removing the outer layer, it was perfect on her! She also had a cathedral length veil which seems to be the trend these days and I’m loving it, it made for some great photos! We headed to Charley Brown Park after the wedding for outdoor photos and had perfect clouds and beautiful sunshine. We loved how this couple completely trusted us to do our photo thing and their bridal party was so easy to work with. We really appreciate how laid back and fun that whole group was. The reception was held at Johnny and June’s where we enjoyed some beautiful decor, great DJ interaction (thanks to Jon at Legacy DJ Services), and some delicious food. We wish we knew the name of the caterer to give them a shout out but this was some of the BEST wedding food I’ve ever had, they did a great job. This was our first time at this reception hall and we really thought it looked amazing, kudos to the couple and those who decorated the reception hall, it looked fantastic. We watched as the couple snuggled, laughed, and completely enjoyed every minute of their wedding reception including a description of their love story which was a really cool touch. Jon always does a great job as DJ at weddings we love working with him and his laid back, easy to work with style. We LOVED working with this couple and we hope they enjoy their honeymoon as much as they so visibly enjoyed their wedding day, thanks for being easy photo subjects and for being so in love taking photos was a breeze.
