Ashley and Chad | Wedding @ The Carriage House in Altamont, IL

Happy to share the wedding of my cousing Chad to his wife Ashley! Ashley had some great details involved with the wedding and an absolutely beautiful location for the reception and ceremony, the Carriage House in Altamont, IL. If you have not checked out this new venue you should it is absolutely awesome! Ashley had plans for an outdoor ceremony at a stunning location but unfortunately the downpour moved us indoors but none the less it was a special ceremony with Ashley having her daughter walk her down the aisle and their closest family and friends there to witness the event. They had amazing details incorporated into their wedding day from Ashley’s broach bouquet and vintage style to their candy buffet. Ashley started her morning with hair at the awesome Foxy Styles in Effingham, IL where the girls there do amazing work with hair followed by makeup by the stunning Katrina Smith from Branches in Effingham. Katrina does such an amazing job with brides, if you are in need of wedding makeup she is one of the short list I reccomend for bridal makeup 🙂 We were able to squeeze in some outdoor photos after the rain died down following the ceremony at a local park as well as some shots in downtown Altamont. I am glad we were at least able to get some outdoor photos in despite the weather. Ashley included their children in the ceremony and they were of course adorable. Thankfully, Ashley’s mother made my job really easy by providing us a stunning home and backdrop for her to get ready in as well as some of her detail and preparation shots. Her house was absolutely perfect for this wedding and its theme! Doug and I had a great time, it is always nice to shoot a family wedding. Congrats guys and enjoy wedded bliss!
