Ember and Justin | Wedding @ Carriage House, Altamont IL

If you are normal followers of the blog you’ll know that we NORMALLY post our wedding blogs a few days after the wedding, poor Ember and Justin have had to wait a lot longer than that due to my life experiencing some hilarious hiccups in the last 7 days. You know those country songs where everything goes wrong? Well, I’ve experienced that a bit in real life with everything from the flu to a broken down car to some major snafus in my schedule basically preventing me from sharing you the goodness that was Ember and Justin’s wedding day. So lets get to it!

Ember and Justin have that kind of relationship where when you watch them from afar you’re like “ohhhh my gawd…. how sweet is that?!” in a super high pitched squeal. Literally, they were perfect all day long for photography being so in love and happy you couldn’t even try to get a bad shot of them. We started the morning at the church where we photographed and filmed Ember’s wedding details from start to finish in addition to the hair and makeup going on in the church hall. The girls were full of energy and Ember was very relaxed getting ready for her big moment down the aisle. She wore an absolutely beautiful dress and super long veil (my favorite, the kind I sing about) and her wedding party looked super fly 🙂 We were able to pull some indoor and outdoor photos before the ceremony started despite the heat and humidity outside and we were grateful for a nice and cool church when all the guests started to pile in, they had a packed house with loved ones! We loved their big family and all of the bonds we got to witness as Ember and Justin exchanged vows and rings in front of all their friends and family. We wrapped up family photos and headed to do some outdoor shots and again, Ember and Justin were just straight on the cute factor because we ended up with some great shots! Ember is so kind and sweet, I’m convinced she’s never said a bad thing about anyone and Justin is that kind of guy you’d hang out with all the time, with an awesome sense of humor. We laughed with them all day! We headed to the Carriage House where the guests had been treated to drinks and appetizers prior to the couples introduction and the grand opening of their amazing reception, decked out with decor I’ve never seen before, it was so unique! The cakes were fantastic (shout out to Jo’s Fatastic Cakes!) and the couple had every desert imaginable available for their guests. They made their grand entrance, cut their cake, and a plated meal was served by the amazing Carriage House staff consisting of five star food from Ochs St. Smoked Meats. Their food was incredible, they did a fantastic job. We kicked off the reception with dances and sweet memories and the couple started partying the night away with their bridal party and loved ones. We absolutely LOVED working with this couple, we hope they have an amazing married life together!

Congrats Ember and Justin!
