Our June wedding madness continues! We spent an amazing day with Kelsey and Sam, two of the most beautiful fun people with some amazing light and some awesome (but warm) weather. We started the morning at Blend Salon in Effingham where Kelsey had a very relaxed morning getting her bridal beauty on. She left with a fabulous hairdo and some flawless makeup and the girls enjoyed the salon and socializing with each other. We headed out to beautiful Bishop Creek Church for pre-wedding photos and Kelsey put on her stunning bridal gown, accented with lace and beading which fit her perfectly. We LOVED the fact that the couple scheduled enough time for portraits both inside and outside before the ceremony, even without seeing each other we had a great opportunity to utilize the cooler morning weather to maximize our portrait time and have enough time for Kelsey and Sam to cool off, exchange letters, prior to the ceremony. Kelsey had one of my favorite bridal accessories, a cathedral length veil which we utilized for as many photos as possible š If any of you have heard my āI like big veils and I cannot lie rapā I personally apologize for my tone deaf singing skills š The ceremony was executed flawlessly and Sam had the biggest smile on his face as Kelsey walked down the aisle. The families beamed with pride as the two exchanged vows and the cute little flower girls looked on, happy as could be. We loved how the couple incorporated small details in the wedding from the beautiful flowers from Burklands to the lovely church decorations. The couple also chose a smaller bridal party which was AWESOME for intimate photos and moving through things quickly. We had plenty of time post wedding to take formal portraits inside the church and outside on the church grounds before heading to celebrate with the couple at some local bars with their friends and family. The storm clouds were moving in and we made a quick last minute call to squeeze in more portraits at the local park because the clouds brought cooler weather and some beautiful distributed light. I love when couples completely trust my judgement when I think we either havenāt gotten enough portraits or could create magic with the light changes that happen with mother nature. We only spent about 15 minutes taking the additional portraits but I think they were completely worth the time spent. We headed to the T-Town Event Center for the beautiful reception where the couple was introduced as husband and wife into a room filled with loved ones. The meal provided by Niemergās catering was outstanding as always andĀ Christian Savage from Complete Music provided the awesome reception music and had the party hopping long into the night. He was a great involved DJ and brought humor and fun to the night and we appreciate how easy he was to work with! Kelsey and Sam had such a great day, we loved how easy going they were and how willing they were to trust our vision and our advice. We know they will have a wonderful life together and we hope they have a BLAST on their honeymoon.
Congrats!
