Kristin and Mike | Wedding @ Friendship Park, Mattoon IL

The beautiful fall season brought us back to Friendship Park in Mattoon for the wedding of our dear friends Kristin and Mike. Although we haven’t known them very long, we can say without a doubt that these guys are awesome. I knew from the beginning of all the wedding planning that Kristin would have a really cool and classic theme. I absolutely LOVED The dress she chose for the wedding because it fit her personality so perfectly and looked stunning on her. We love the laid back family feel of the wedding day and had a great time focusing our portraits on the couple. One of the great things about weddings like this is that we really get time to utilize multiple locations and have more casual and fun family portraits. Most people don’t realize that transporting a large bridal party around town takes up a lot of time and resources on a wedding day and that is specifically why we love weddings like this. I loved the ample time and location freedom to capture as many portraits as we could of the couple so that they always have those memories. The outdoor wedding went perfectly and the weather was great. The entire group of family and friends attending the wedding were so kind and enjoyable. I must say though that the BEST part of this day was seeing two of our friends incredibly happy. It was such an honor for us to be present and we can’t wait for all the good times ahead!
