Cassidy and Zac | Wedding @ St. John’s Lutheran, Effingham IL

It’s true what they say, only cool people get married the first weekend in June (just like Doug and I did 7 years ago!) This couple certainly pulled off a really great June wedding! Cassidy and Zac were an absolute JOY to work with and we loved every minute of their big day! We had an early start to the morning at Mainly You Salon in Teutopolis where the girls there did yet another amazing job with bridal and bridal party hair! This salon is full of talent which also included the makeup talents of Kaitlyn Hartke (with Makeup By Kaitlyn) who created Cassidy’s classic look. The wedding ceremony took place at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Effingham and the weather was absolutely beautiful for outdoor pictures. Following the ceremony we headed to Ballard Nature Center where we were able to get in some relaxed bridal portraits before making a few other stops before the reception. We love easy going bridal parties and this group was really enjoyable. The Keller Convention Center in Effingham hands down did a fantastic job with the reception events and details. We LOVE being at the Keller Convention Center because of the friendly staff, the always beautiful decorated halls, and of course the world class staff. Cassidy had a beautiful cake and I must say I was a BIG fan of her cake topper (we love Disney)! We loved the interactive DJ that kept the night flowing and dance floor full. We want to give a special shout out to the Keller Convention Center for their hospitality and also a big thank you to the families of Cassidy and Zac who made us feel so welcome. Congrats to you both and we wish you many years of happiness!
