Alysia and AJ | Engagement @ Tower Grove Park and Bailey’s Range, St. Louis MO

Those kind of people you can have a burger and milkshakes with….

That’s AJ and Alysia and we did have burgers and milkshakes, quite literally. I knew the moment this couple sat in our office to book their wedding we would probably love them to death (and we do). The reason being they kind of remind us of ourselves. Alysia has a contagious laugh and AJ has the best sense of humor (not like us, but we wish).  I’m pretty sure if we had been turned loose on the city any longer we probably could have gotten into some hilarious trouble together. We opted to have them in a morning session because we shot at one of our FAVORITE restaurants in downtown St. Louis: Bailey’s Range. Now, I’m not the first person to see this unique and beautiful interior as amazing for photos. I bow to the master Keith Lee (Keith Lee Studios) for pulling off some incredible shots from a previous engagement shoot there and being the one to suggest to us that we try their cuisine. Once it became our “it” spot for a burger and a milkshake in the city we shared that information with AJ and Alysia. Once they tried it, they fell in love too and we loved using the buildings unique character for a few shots before we all grabbed lunch together. We really appreciate the accommodating staff for letting us create our images! We also grabbed a few morning shots of this couple at Tower Grove Park. I loved Alysia’s style and because it was a Sunday morning we basically had the parks to ourselves (which was awesome). It turned out to be a great day and I know we will have a blast at this couples wedding. I will add to this post: If you haven’t tried Bailey’s Range in St. Louis, you are missing out!
