Beth and Jeremy are somewhere in Aruba sitting on a beach probably hitting refresh on their hotel wifi waiting for this blog…. Am I right guys?
We LOVE local, hometown weddings and we knew we were in for a good one when it comes to Beth and Jeremy. They had one absolutely beautiful day to work with! We started the morning at Swagger Salon where yet again the infamous Jessie Will shamed Pinterest by creating a classic and elegant bridal up-do for Beth’s big day. Following makeup and preparations we headed over to the church where Beth had thought of every little detail from the first look with her dad to her grand entrance and awesome bridal party. We love when we know a lot of the bridal party members, its always enjoyable to see familiar faces. Beth had a unique property chosen for her outdoor photos and right as we got there the sun finally appeared after MANY days of rain leading up to the wedding day (BOO Mother Nature). We had some fun with some confetti canons (which is going to be hilarious in the wedding video) and made a few stops at local pubs before heading to the reception. Beth and Jeremy along with their families did an amazing job on the decor and set up for the reception, it was absolutely beautiful. Walnut Street Weddings did yet another amazing job in the backdrop and the reception decor. We were especially fond of the nacho bar (Hint hint future brides, it was a big hit). We loved the touching speeches and all of the energy brought to the dance floor that evening. We got the opportunity to try a few night shots and sunset shots (which are my favorite) but I will caution all of you: dollar store sparklers don’t light worth crap, lesson learned. Special shout out to my friend Tanya at Design Pro who did an amazing job on the couples signage at the reception and programs for the ceremony, she always does an amazing job! I also forgot to tell you guys (Beth and Jeremy) while in Aruba you have to find this place called “Aruba Aloe” not only do they make the most AMAZING aloe for sunburns (we had to use the First Aid Extreme one) but they make a shampoo that is incredible, seriously, check it out. Good stuff! Have a BLAST in Aruba, we wish we were back there enjoying its beauty! Congrats on your marriage, may you have a full and happy life together. Stay tuned because Key-Films will have a trailer featuring this wedding in the coming weeks!

*Huge shout out to Kayla from Kayla Elizabeth Photography in Martinsville for once again joining me and once again being the worlds best and most tolerant second shooter. I’m tough to deal with, I’m just so grateful at the end of the day she still comes back.
