Brandy and Chris | Wedding @ Spruce Street Studios, Shelbyville IL

I know that Brandy and Chris are anxious to see this blog post! If I could describe Brandy’s wedding look in one word it would be “classic.” I LOVED using black and white images for this wedding because everything about her dress, veil, makeup, accessories was a perfect example of classic, timeless elegance. She looked absolutely stunning! I didn’t forget about you Chris, bow ties are the BEST! Brandy and Chris tied the knot at the beautiful Spruce Street Studios in Shelbyville, IL. This was my first experience shooting in the new facility and let me tell you, it is a very beautiful place. I know they put a lot of work into both the indoor and outdoor spaces there and when we were getting the grand tour we found some really great locations for cool natural light shots that we were able to work into the day. We took photos before the ceremony at a local park and utilized the beautiful outdoor space at Spruce Street for family portraits. Doug with Key-Films provided the videography for the day along with our other video guru Adam. Their wedding trailer of the day is sure to be great! Brandy and Chris had a lot of emotion in their wedding day and it was obvious how much they cared about each other in writing their own personal vows to each other as well as in the details that Brandy included to remember her father. Brandy had the sweetest grandfather that walked her down the aisle and gave a memorable speech during the reception. We had such a good time spending the day with you both and your families and we LOVE that you had cheesecake instead of wedding cake at the reception! We wish you all the best!
