We’re late, we’re late, for a very important blog!
Some of you may have noticed we are a few days late on sharing our blog- dang work travel prevented me from getting it up and shared to all of you! We wanted to make sure to share with you as soon as possible the awesomeness of Celeste and Jackson’s wedding day. Not only did they get perfect fall weather (picture perfect might I add) they also had an equally amazing day surrounded by family and friends. We started the morning off at Mainly You in Teutopolis where Bridget created this beautiful updo for Celeste which featured a lovely hair piece and nice long flow veil. Celeste also had flawless makeup done at the salon as well before heading to the church to get ready for her big day. We were blessed with beautiful light in the morning hours at the church and after the couple exchanged letters to each other we were on our way with photos. Celeste had a beautiful dress that literally was made for her and I loved the color scheme she chose for her bridesmaids and bridal party. After a super sweet first look with Celeste’s dad, we packed in as many photos as we could before the big walk down the aisle. The wedding ceremony finally arrived and Jackson smiled from ear to ear as Celeste made her way down the aisle. There were lots of laughs, smiles and tears during the wedding ceremony and the couple exited church to a balloon release and drove off in style. We had lots of time to complete formal photos after the ceremony and Celeste had won the opportunity to take photographs at the always beautiful Austin Mansion so we headed there after the ceremony for more photos. We utilized both the inside and the outside of this classic mansion and enjoyed absolute perfection with the weather including some gorgeous sunlight. Thanks to the Austin Mansion for always keeping the mansion beautiful and in top shape. We wrapped up photos and headed to the Effingham Event Center for the reception where Walnut Street Weddings provided some beautiful decor and backdrop. We enjoyed some touching speeches by Celeste’s dad and the bridal party and then were treated to a delicious meal by Martins IGA Catering. Terry Hopper of Anatime Entertainment was our trusty DJ and MC for the evening providing not only great music but wonderful interaction with the crowd and bridal party. Good DJ’s can make or break and our buddy Terry always delivers! The party was hopping and guests were enjoying the wonderful candy table and activities the couple had arranged. We also provided video services for this wedding and we can’t wait to share the final result with you in a few weeks. Special thanks to Kayla York from Kayla Elizabeth Photography in Martinsville for once again joining us and capturing some great images and assisting us with lighting and video. We love you lots Kayla! Celeste and Jackson are such a wonderful couple, they really just wanted to sit back and enjoy the day and we know they are going to have a wonderful life together full of supportive family and friends. It was wonderful working with them and their families! Congrats Celeste and Jackson, enjoy your new adventure together!
