Emily and Brock | Wedding @ St. Anthony Church, Effingham IL

I know Emily is anxiously awaiting a wedding blog so I’ll probably have to keep this short 🙂 We couldn’t have asked for a more laid back, fun couple than Emily and Brock. The ENTIRE day was relaxed and chill and you don’t find that often on wedding days. We had great weather for November, slightly on the windy side but we took that, with Emily’s long veil, and ran with it! As you can see, there was a lot of love and emotion throughout the day. I normally don’t feature too many formals or family stills in my blogs (I do take them, I swear) but for this particular family I added some to their blog. The reason? Emily and Brock’s families are amazing, particularly their parents. Doug and I felt so incredibly welcomed into the fold on the wedding day and we felt so very honored. Both sets of parents were awesome! We have had that “feeling like family” feeling at a lot of our weddings this year and we LOVE it. What I loved about Emily and Brock is when I started climbing on stuff and made them get on playground equipment, they didn’t even blink. They just went with it and completely trusted me. Now THAT is a great photographer/couple relationship 🙂 It can make for some awesome results. Doug and I are winding down the 2013 wedding season but we are not loosing steam! Two more to go to wrap up the year and then we are back on the road for some January/February weddings. Loving every minute of it! Congrats Emily and Brock, may you be blessed with awesomeness and many MANY happy years together.
