Erika and Andrew | Wedding @ Orland Park, IL

blog78Erika and Andrew’s wedding was nothing short of a great event full of surprises and great fun. We loved traveling up north to spend the day with them! I have known Erika since I was in grade school and we went through not only grade school together but high school as well in a small town so its safe to say I have known her and her family for over a decade. It was so nice to see everyone again and visit while Erika was getting her bridal look completed at the salon. She was so relaxed and trusting of her vendors and that made our day so much easier! Andrew had a great bunch of fun groomsman and we enjoyed hanging out with them at the hotel while they were getting ready for the wedding. Erika had given us the heads up about all of the beautiful details incorporated into her ceremony including an amazing adult choir, a down to earth and very kind priest, and some wonderful participation by the couple during the wedding ceremony. Erika has always been a great singer and she and Andrew even shared some of their musical talents during the wedding ceremony (we loved it guys, it was amazing). The wedding party was great to work with and we knew that the reception would be a blast. Erika and Andrew had worked VERY hard to have an outstanding first dance which was choreographed and executed flawlessly. We have never quite seen a first dance that was so unique, it was just wonderful. Both families were so very welcoming and the venues were great. One of the things that stood out to me about this wedding reception was the presence of not a DJ but a group of dueling pianos and a drummer. This kind of live entertainment was one of the coolest things I have ever seen at a wedding. These talented men could play ANYTHING you requested and had the crowd involved ALL night and the dance floor was NEVER empty. Since music is so important to Erika and Andrew we honestly expected nothing less. What an awesome reception and a great couple. We wish you both many years of happiness!
