Heather and Phil | Wedding @ Teutopolis, IL

Heather and Phil had an AMAZING wedding day surrounded by almost an entire city of loved ones! We started the morning at Mainly You salon where their hair and makeup experts beautified our bridal party and gave Heather a beautiful updo. We watched was Heather read touching notes from her bridal party during her hair appointment and laughed with the bridal party as we discussed all thing weddings. We headed to St. Francis in Teutopolis to get ready for the ceremony and we were able to take a lot of awesome bridal party shots before the wedding before Heather made her big walk down the aisle with her beautiful flowers from Burklands. We were able to brave the cold weather and tough it out with the bridal party because it was a cold and windy day! Heather made her grand entrance down the aisle and Phil was smiling from ear to ear. She looked stunning walking up with her dad and the ceremony was full of beautiful moments. Heather and Phil had a PACKED house in the church and it was clear these two were very loved by their friends and family (In fact, I commonly call them my “regulars” at weddings I shoot because I see them as guests all the time). We were able to wrap up family photos and and brave the outdoors to take some photos in the fall color at a local park. We made as much art with Heather’s veil as we could and attempted to squeeze in as many portraits as possible before the couple froze their rears off. We headed to a few local bars to enjoy some time with friends and then packed up to head to the reception. Heather and Phil had even more people at their reception as they did their ceremony and I’m telling you I’ve never seen so many people in the TTown KC Hall as I did for this wedding. We were immediately impressed with the beautiful decor done by Celebrate in Style and the backdrop that just made the room complete. We also saw the AMAZING tower of cupcakes made by one of the brides aunt’s Tracy Bloemer. Now we know there was another aunt involved in the making of the cupcakes and if someone posts her name here on the blog I’ll add it because these ladies made some of the most AMAZING cupcakes I’ve ever had (seriously, the smore one I ate for breakfast the next morning and it was LIFE changing). I’m telling you, I could go on and on about these cupcakes… The couple made their grand entrance and Max from Complete Music kept the party flowing throughout the night. Niemergs provided yet again another amazing meal (come on you guys, just consider the mac and cheese idea ok?) and the couple circulated to visit with their big crowd. The dance floor was PACKED while the couple danced the night away. We LOVED this couple they were so laid back and so fun we love us a local TTown fall wedding, they are the BEST. We wish this couple every happiness in all the world and we hope they have an amazing time on their honeymoon. Congrats Heather and Phil!
