James | Infant

Since wedding season has started and is in full swing my infant photos are going to become fewer and far between for a few months. I was lucky to get to shoot 3 babies in the past two weeks and baby James here was one of them! Not only did he perfectly sleep like an angel through most of the shoot, but we managed a rare moment when his eyes were open and he was very alert (usually with babies you either get really awake or really sleepy) and James had the best of both worlds! There are so many types of infant photography out there, especially with an emphasis on props but I have found with my particular style of infant photography that just letting the baby hang out in their environment makes for some really great memories. I am glad that other families have welcomed this style and allowed me to document the precious first few weeks of their child’s life.
