Jenna and Chad Engagement @ Altamont, IL

We came out of our winter hibernation to shoot the engagement session of Jenna and Chad. We typically avoid shooting any type of outdoor session in February because, well, its really cold and conditions aren’t always pretty. We made the exception for Jenna and Chad because Chad is a professional baseball player (legit) and had to report to spring training before the favorable weather arrives in Illinois. We were not only super excited to work with this couple (and Doug to talk baseball with Chad all day) but we were equally thrilled with the almost 50 degree temps that we enjoyed during the session. I was actually able to pull off flip flops during the shoot. Despite the wet and soggy conditions of the nature center we were able to get some good backdrops and drier conditions in the downtown Altamont area. We also incorporated a few baseball themed photos for the couple. We also had the unique opportunity to get photobombed by some chickens and a mini horse while we were out and about. We wish Chad all the best with this season and are looking forward to their late fall wedding. Congrats to you both, thanks for hanging with us!
