Jenna and Patrick | Engagement @ The Ballard Nature Center, Altamont IL

I am so happy to share this engagement session because I just adored this couple. It is one of those instant click moments where you know you are instantly going to get along that just makes the day that much better. Jenna and Patrick drove down to shoot with us a few mornings back and we were happy that they did. With the fall being so busy I have started shooting in the morning (that good morning light) for some of my engagement sessions and we couldn’t be happier with the lighting we have found at some of our locations. Jenna liked the fall color and look of the Ballard Nature Center and we found some great spots for their shoot. We had a great time discussing postseason baseball (they are Cardinal fans, we liked them instantly for this) and our busy lives. What is even cooler is that Patrick is a a cop and he let me hold his badge (I probably should NEVER have that much power, ever). Just like us, they have a dog and are very busy with life so it was very easy to relate to this couple and we literally laughed all morning. Nothing is better than when you see a couple truly in love and that’s what you see with Jenna and Patrick. Jenna was literally laughing so hard with Patrick she had tears in her eyes and it made for some beautiful shots. Here are just some of a few of their engagement photos.
