Jessica and Bryce | Wedding @ Pear Tree Estate, Champaign IL

We absolutely loved everything about Jessica and Bryce’s wedding day. For starters, they picked a great venue to host both their ceremony and reception at Pear Tree Estate in Champaign, IL. This newly built facility houses great natural light, beautiful grounds, and an even better staff. We were able to capture detail shots as well as Jessica and Bryce’s first look photos inside the facility. One of the things I loved about their wedding was that they did not have an official bridal party (and I secretly hope this becomes a trend). Why was this awesome? Let me tell you why! There was no corralling or waiting on a late bridal party member. Getting ready was a breeze and there was an immaculate room to do it in. Additionally, there was no bridal party to slow things down shuttling from picture location and around the venue. It was AWESOME having the opportunity to take bride/groom pictures with the amount of picture time that we did have. It gives you the opportunity for greater travel to picture locations as well as more creativity. With Jessica and Bryce we were able to travel a decent distance to take pictures at Lake of the Woods (something I fear we may not have had time for had a bridal party been with us) and there were some great spots (including the iced over lake) that created great photo opportunities. It was great getting to know them and their families when we returned to the estate to finish family photos. Their ceremony was memorable and sweet followed by cocktail hour. The staff at Pear Tree Estate did an outstanding job changing over the ceremony site to the reception site while guests were enjoying drinks and hors d’oeuvres on the patio. Following a speech by Jessica’s dad as well as an awesome meal the party got started. It was great weather for a wedding and we really enjoyed being able to capture the couple throughout the day and to spend all of the photography efforts on the couple. They braved some muddy and windy conditions and for that we commend them! Enjoy your honeymoon guys and your new life together!
