After our Friday wedding we were thankful for the timing and the schedule of the next day’s event. Kaile and Ethan were married in a beautiful ceremony in Mexico a few weeks prior and were returning home to greet their family and friends as a new married couple for a beautiful hometown reception at the Carriage House. I absolutely LOVED doing this shoot. First of all, how nice is it to just show up at golden hour, get out of your car and have over an hour of uninterrupted bride and groom portrait time to create magic without worrying about a pressing schedule or toting around a large bridal party. Second, this light though….. Third, they are just beautiful people, inside and out, we loved them instantly and they were so easy and natural to shoot. The portraits piece of this evening was just an absolute dream. We were able to get in so much without being rushed or held to a tight schedule. We headed to the Carriage House where back to back Janet had done a beautiful job decorating for this intimate reception. The couple showered their guests with unique favors (bottle opener key chains, how crazy cool right?!), yummy cupcakes, and lots of snacks. The guests were also treated to a showing of the couples wedding ceremony in Mexico along with some photos of their destination adventure. The couple entertained their guests with a talented live band and we loved just hanging back in the crowd shooting candids as the couple mingled and visisted with family and friends. It was a GREAT evening and we are so glad they asked us to be a part of it. Thanks Kaile and Ethan for making us a part of your special day, we loved working with you and your families! Congrats and best wishes in your new life together!
