Kelsey and Caleb | Wedding @ St. Francis Catholic Church, Teutopolis IL

We are slowly creeping into the fall season and thankfully the weather is starting to show it. We were blessed with glorious weather for the wedding of Caleb and Kelsey and the beautiful cloudy day and the nice cool breeze made me almost think we were in the middle of October (in August, no less). We loved this couple and their bridal party and the day went so smoothly. We started the morning off at one of my favorite local area salons, Stylez where the top notch team there created Kelsey’s bridal look along with that of the wedding party. We moved over to Branches Salon where the ever so talented Katrina Smith, makeup guru extraordinaire, created a flawless makeup job for Kelsey. We shoot a lot of weddings in the Teutopolis Catholic Church and yet we never grow tired of the church’s beauty and potential. Because Kelsey and Caleb did a first look, we were able to take advantage of the morning hours and complete all formals and squeeze in a few photos outside. We have known Caleb’s family for a long time and it was so nice to see so many familiar faces not only within the family but also within the bridal party. Following the ceremony we were able to get in some beautiful outdoor photos at the immaculate garden area of the Althoff’s (special thanks to them for allowing us the use of their property) and spend some time just hanging out. The bridal party was so fun to work with and we really enjoyed the entire day. The evening was complimented by the excellent DJ services of Travis Kessler who is always enjoyable to work with, always works well with other vendors, and does a great job keeping the party going. I’m loving the fact that our couples this year are really looking at their schedules and allowing themselves not only enough time to enjoy the day but also enough time for some great photos. We know Kelsey and Caleb will have a long and happy life together and we were so honored to document the day.

Congrats you guys!
