Hello All!
It’s been a while since we have had a blog on the Key-Films site but it isn’t because we haven’ t been shooting! Doug and I have been very busy with weddings and family shoots (and postseason baseball).
Here is a bit of a recap of what’ s been up with us 🙂
1. We have completed shooting 22 weddings so far in 2013, we have three more to go to wrap up 2013!
2. Personally, I think we are kicking turn around time’s arse! We are currently running around 1 month-1 month and 1 week returning our full wedding photos and 2 weeks or less on engagement photos, family photos, kid photos. We keep a very steady pace and go through all our sets twice. It got a little tougher keeping up while the St. Louis Cardinals were doing really well in post season because all we wanted to do was watch games but we made both a priority 🙂 Unfortunately they lost but we are still proud of them!
3. We actually got to attend Game 4 of the World Series. Although they lost the game and inevitebly the series we had a BLAST at the game. I took a decent camera with us, not my best camera, but we should have some good shots to share in a few weeks once all our client files are out the door!
4. We are booking QUICKLY for 2014! We are almost at our “tap out” limit for the year. We are completely blessed to be so booked with weddings and we are looking forward to all the cool couples in 2014.
5. I spent the summer having some health related issues which they thought was a possible issue with my heart. I went through some testing at the hospital and all the tests were good and I have been feeling alot better! Once again, we have been very fortunate this year.
6. We made some life transitions this year adding Doug’s videography to the mix and making life just a little bit crazier for us. We also celebrated our five year wedding anniversary with photos of our own being taken by the amazing Keith Lee out of St. Louis.
7. We have officially stopped accepting clients for infant photography. We love local photogrpahers that make infant photography their main priority and we couldn’t be happer to refer to them. We love babies we just want to focus our photography on weddings and families.
8. We have plans this winter to blog a little more “resources” for our brides as well as other photographers. We want to share a little bit more about ourselves, the things we love, and our thoughts about weddings and more. Stay tuned for more info as the wedding season for us gets a bit of a break.
If you are waiting on photos, do not fear! We are still keeping up a good pace despite being very busy! We are enjoying fall and are gearing up for the holidays as well as our November/December weddings. Thank you all for your continued support!
