Lauren and Jason | Wedding @ Crystal Tree Country Club, Orland Park IL

Our last wedding took us a little further north than our normal wedding day, all the way up to Orland Park, IL I the Chicago area for the wedding of Lauren and Jason. I knew going into the wedding day that Lauren had put so much hard work and careful planning into her big day and it was an absolutely stunning wedding day from the dress to the décor. The morning started with hair and makeup, some great stories and a little catching up. I have known Lauren since college and we were looking back over the last 10 years wondering how crazy it is that we were standing there together on her wedding day. Lauren had a STUNNING dress (that later turned into a chic wedding gown for her reception) and created her classic look with an elegantly dressed bridal party. Jason is a pretty awesome guy. Not only did he propose in Paris (yes France) he was one of the world’s nicest and most inviting guys. We headed to the church where we were able to get in some photos prior to the ceremony. The service was very touching and the church was packed full of loved ones who clearly cared about the bride and groom very much! Mother Nature wasn’t overly cooperative but we were able to get in some outdoor photos before the rain came pouring down. It subsided later allowing us to sneak on one more evening shot. The reception was absolutely gorgeous with fresh flowers and a beautiful cake. Lauren really outdid herself with her planning and vision of the entire day. After a quick dress change, Lauren and Jason had a very memorable first dance followed by a very hopping dance floor. Their first dance was so beautiful, we heavily featured it in this blog. We especially liked the late night pizza buffet (very cool idea guys) and the way they incorporated special performances and family dances into their big day. Doug also shot video of their big day so stay tuned for a future trailer! It was an absolute blast shooting the wedding and we wish them MANY years of happiness.
