What a great day we had with Morgan and Adam on their big day! We were graced with rain most of the day but we did manage to sneak out and get some outdoor shots despite mother nature’s wet spring weather. Serenity Salon was full of excitement and stories about all of the wedding preparations and Jackie Having from Serenity Salon did a beautiful job on Morgan’s long hair! Makeup by Candice Frese gave Morgan a beautiful wedding look. One of the nice things about this paticular wedding was that I have known Morgan and her sister Mallory for quite some time and they are both just fabulous and fun girls. It also helped with knowing some names and family members! We had a blast taking Morgan and Adam’s engagement photos in downtown St. Louis and I knew the wedding would be such a good time. They chose a very fun and laid back wedding party and the entire day Doug and I felt like we were treated like family (which is FABULOUS). Both sets of parents of the bride and groom were so welcoming to us and it is obvious all of the love and support Adam and Morgan will have the rest of their lives. Even though the Artisan Fair was downtown Effingham we opted to avoid the soaked conditions of the grass and go for some downtown portraits. The rain had chased away many fair goers so we had a good opportunity for some shots in front of the old court house. The reception was beautiful and everyone had a great time. Thanks for letting us share your day with you Morgan and Adam! We hope you had a blast on your honeymoon in Jamaica!
