Sarah and Ben | Wedding @ Saint Raphael the Archangel, St. Louis MO

I know that Sara and her family are anxiously awaiting this blog so I’ll keep it short and sweet. We are a little bias in saying how awesome Sarah and Ben are because they are members of our family and of course, our family rocks 🙂 We had perfect weather in the St. Louis area for a wedding last weekend and a great bridal party to work with. Sarah and Ben said their vows at Saint Raphael the Archangel which was blessed with beautiful windows and natural light. There were several local parks nearby that we were able to utilize for photos and the wedding party was a blast to work with. We ran into some interesting characters at the local parks which enabled us to pretty much laugh through the ENTIRE day. Sarah had the great idea of doing a wedding party shot that mirrored their ceremony programs (which had the wedding party members striking different poses). One of the best things about this wedding was that it was really a family affair. Their parents and immediate family were very involved in the wedding festivities and there was great emotion to photograph all night. Doug and I also loved working with familiar faces and people and seeing our family in the process! As you can see, these two cool cats have pretty awesome personalities. Sarah was just beautiful and has the most kind spirit and Ben is not only a super nice guy but he’s hilarious to photograph (as you can see, he was pretty aware of where I was in a few shots). We are glad they are back from their honeymoon now as now Ben can post more cute and adorable pictures of their dog, Chewie (who is now my most recent Facebook obsession). And since you named your dog after a Star Wars character I will say… May the Force be with you in your marriage 🙂
