Sarah and Trent | Engagement @ Secret Garden

It was really hard to pick favorite images from Sarah and Trent’s engagement session because the location that these two found for their shoot was AMAZING. I call it the Secret Garden because its near my house (kinda) and I had NO idea that it existed. It is private property and beautifully maintained and we were so fortunate to get permission from the owner to shoot there. She even gave us kind of an idea of what kind of wild flowers were on the property and there were SO many beautiful flowers. I was like a kid in a candy store. Sarah and Trent did EXACTLY what I encourage all my couples to do. Think outside the box. It is hard sometimes, with this being a small area, to continually find new locations for each shoot that I do and this is why I strongly encourage my couples to think of any relatives, friends, coworkers, or acquaintances that may have amazing hidden little gems like this one! They exist in this area! The best thing about doing that is that you can almost guarantee that no location will be the same and it helps to avoid the photography “hot spots” that are usually crowded. What an awesome job they did picking this spot. We ended the session taking some photos on what will be their future home and I couldn’t have asked for a more fun, laid back couple that just went with the flow!
