Shelby and Jon | Engagement @ Rural Sigel, IL

When life gives you rain, you just schedule round II of engagement photos. That is what happened with Shelby and Jon here. The poor guys, midway through our evening engagement session mother nature decided to be a big fat jerk (as she has been for the last 10 days or so) and rain on our parade. Thankfully though the second time around was beautiful, sunny, and a little toasty. I’ve known Shelby for about two years now and I am so happy for her as she plans her wedding with Jon. Since we work together we can discuss lots of wedding things and she thankfully puts up with my requests for nacho bars and mac and cheese at the wedding reception (come on guys, at least think about it). This summer Doug and I have managed to stay on top of things, especially the editing, and we have maintained some great turn around not only for engagements but for weddings as well. Lets hope the rest of the year is as fabulous as these two cool cats. You’ll see them next spring doing the marriage thing on the blog….. stay tuned….
