Stevi and Kevin | Wedding @ Effingham, IL

I don’t even know where to begin on this wedding. A little background: I have known Stevi and her family since I’m pretty sure the 5th or 6th grade. Might even be before that, my memory is terrible. Stevi and her twin sister Shayla were two of the sweetest girls I had the pleasure of being friends with in high school (and am still friends with today). Enter the Croy Family. You won’t find too many families that have THIS much love and kindness. From Owen and Olivia to Cindy and Steve we absolutely LOVED seeing everyone again. We laughed to old high school memories and it was just a fantastic honor to be able to photograph Stevi’s wedding day.

Enter Kevin and his awesome entourage. Kevin’s family was instantly welcoming and Kevin is the kind of guy that you KNOW is going to make you laugh (as he did the majority of the day). We loved the relax feel of the wedding day and all of the personal touches. Following a great and memorable ceremony we were able to get some outdoor photos in before heading to the reception. Shayla’s speech was hands down the best I have seen yet at a wedding (and I thought I had seen it all). Sorry Brennan, I’ve seen the “Wolfpack” speech before, it was awesome though, I loved how you made it your own! Shayla created a full on rap in honor of her sister. I never laughed so hard in my entire life, it was really hard to keep the camera steady. The reception was full of family love, excellent food, and a great party. Thanks to our friends at Fully N Volved DJ Service for providing some awesome music and companionship. We love relationships with local vendors, it makes our job SO much easier!

Stevi and Kevin it was an absolute blast! I can’t wait to finish up your photos so you can relive all of the big day. We were honored you chose us to spend the day with you and your families. Best wishes!
