The Zerrusens | Family @ University of Illinois Arboretum

I have the great honor of photographing one of my favorite families at the beautiful Arboretum in Champaign, IL. Both kiddos were really excited for this particular shoot because they knew that cake was waiting for them at the end of the photo shoot in honor of a special 1 year old birthday! I love when parents are really prepared with ideas for photo shoots and I loved Brendan’s personalized sign and adorable birthday outfit! His mom also is so creative and made some festive decorations for his first cake smash! The entire family was a joy to work with and we had a great time watching Brendan very seriously dig into his cake. We beat the rain and got some beautiful shots with the spring blooming trees!
