Andrea and Mark | Engagement @ Fire Station, Vandalia IL

Mark automatically gets coolness points right off the bat for being an assistant fire chief and for having a whole group of shiny fire trucks ready for their engagement session. I already loved Andrea’s outgoing personality and humor and I pretty much fell in love with Mark after he braved wearing his fire gear in almost 95 degree heat for some engagement shots and didn’t have one complaint in the world. We love shooting new things and getting to shoot in a fire station was a big treat, we really enjoyed it. They had some great locations planned for their photo shoot and although it was literally almost 100 degrees they stuck it out like champs. Sometimes we meet couples that we just LAUGH with almost the entire session and such was the case with Andrea and Mark. I’m pretty sure if we hadn’t laughed through the heat, we might have gone crazy! Doug and I didn’t look very pretty after the session was over (i.e. sweaty and gross) but I think we ended up with some great photos of an amzing couple. We can’t wait for their fun wedding, we are sure a “fire fighter” theme will show up somewhere at the wedding. Congrats on the engagement guys!
