Alicia and Eric | Engagement @ Rural Effingham, IL

When I look at this couple for whatever reason I just like to mess with them because they have a great sense of humor. That’s kind of how the session went, I’d say something (as serious as I could) and then see if I could really get them. I think one of the problems I’ve always had is what most people refer to as “resting bitch face” and its actually my “concentration face” but it looks like I’m mad all the time. Add to that the fact that I’m pretty blunt and I don’t beat around the bush and you have a personality that is basically meant for messing with people. Thankfully, Alicia and Eric just gave it right back and we had a blast moving about their beautiful property shooting engagement photos. What made it easier was that the sunlight was spot on perfect and this couple was insanely good looking. We had a ton of options for photos including a beautiful pond and lane as well as great light and it was just a very easy going fun night. We talked about wedding plans and sports and really enjoyed how naturally these two were laughing together (and at each other). I really do think that’s the secret to a long lasting relationship so these two should be just fine. I won’t ramble on any longer- I have a backlog of weddings to edit so enjoy the love of Alicia and Eric!
