Anne and Stephen | Wedding @ St. Anthony of Padua Church, Effingham IL

Wedding number one of our double header weekend was the wedding of Anne and Stephen. This was a special wedding to me because I have known Anne and her family for a long time now and they have been good friends with our family. Anne is one of the sweetest people you will meet with a long list of life accomplishments and it was a pleasure getting to know Stephen. It is very clear he loves Anne very much and it was such a memorable day. They had a great bridal party consisting of family and friends and it gave us some great opportunities for pictures around the Effingham area. The morning was spent at the family house (even the dogs got to hang out) and makeup was completed at Serenity Salon. The beautiful St. Anthony of Padua Church served as the site for the wedding ceremony and the weather was great for outdoor pictures after the wedding. What we love about Friday weddings is that everything is so laid back and picture areas around town are almost deserted making it easier for us to move around. Anne and Stephen had their wedding reception at the Keller Convention Center (they always do a great job organizing, decorating, and making the day run smoothly). Just like her sister Katie’s wedding, the cookie bar went over VERY well! Anne’s dad had a very memorable speech and we enjoyed seeing familiar faces and friends at the wedding. Thanks to Katie Koester at the Keller Convention Center for getting us consent to take an evening shot outside with the cool lights of the grille! Congrats Anne and Stephen we REALLY enjoyed spending the day with you and were honored you chose us to document your day!
