Flash forward 6 years to the day…..

June 7, 2014: Kristi and Scott marry at St. Anthony Church at 2PM on a rainy day with a reception at the Effingham KC Hall.

Coolness? We thought so too. We couldn’t have had a better anniversary than literally reliving our day with Kristi and Scott, two of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. Despite the rain (just like on our wedding day) we were even able to squeeze in some outdoor photos! We started the day with Hair at Gotcha by the Hair in Effingham followed by makeup at Dimensions in Effingham. Kristi had a very classic and elegant dress chosen for her big day as well as special touches she included from her mom’s wedding day. St. Anthony Church provided a beautiful setting for their wedding ceremony and they even had the same readings we had on our wedding day! Following the ceremony we were able to get in some outdoor photos at one of their chosen spots, the Ballard Nature Center as well downtown Effingham. Following pictures we joined super awesome DJ’s Kayla and Jaz with Fully N Volved for a great reception. We loved interacting with the couple and their families and were luck also to squeeze in some night shots when the rain lightened up. Doug with Key-Films along with our awesome videographer Adam also documented the day with film (trailer coming soon!). We LOVE that this couple shares an anniversary with us, it was a very great day and we are very grateful to have a job we can do together creating memories for others on their wedding day!
