Tasha and Dustin | Wedding @ St. Francis of Assisi, Teutopolis IL

We are catching up on weddings this week following a VERY busy July. The wedding of Tasha and Dustin was such a relaxing and fun day. Tasha was one of those brides that really listened and took advice from wedding vendors (like me). I remember discussing receptions and timelines LONG before the weddings day with her and she pulled off a great schedule and an absolutely beautiful wedding day. The weather in July was ridiculous. It was sunny and breezy and a perfect day for a wedding. Dustin is one of those guys that you are just instantly comfortable with and their bridal party as full of familiar friendly faces. Tasha had one of the most stunning dresses I have seen all year, I remember everyone in the room reacting when she put it on that morning. The dress was MADE for her. Morning hair appointments were completed at Shear Design in Effingham and from there we had ample morning light and great weather for bridal party shots at the church. Tasha had considered and carefully planned out a GREAT photo location for pictures following the wedding and we are so grateful when brides find unique spots that are personal and meaningful for them for pictures! As as very special touch, Dustin and his groomsmen bore the initials of their friend Tommy who had passed away but was still with them in spirit. It was very touching how they honored him in such a special way. The reception included a nacho bar, a beautiful backdrop, and some great moments. Both sets of parents were completely welcoming and Doug and I felt like part of the family. Thanks to the great weather we were also able to steal out of the reception for some evening shots. The entire day was just a awesome and I left in a wedding sugar cookie and nacho coma. We are so glad they chose us to document their day!
